How to Harness Your Personal Power with Color Energy

This month I have allowed myself to indulge and watch the "tele" as the Brits might say as much as I've wanted to. I am one of those viewers that have become enthralled, dare I say obsessed, with the Olympic games. Watching the athletes win as well as graciously lose made me start thinking about the importance of harnessing your personal power in the present moment and committing to...
mental choices in the now and how it relates to color energy.
Swimming has been one of my favorite events. I found some of the comments the athletes made to side-line reporters very encouraging, especially when relating the remarks to mental toughness and the choices you make on what you focus your attention on. Its easy to write or read about mental toughness, its another thing practicing and actually doing it. One of the athletes was questioned about his preparation as well as combating thoughts of prior losses. Unfortunately his name escapes me, but his words do not. This athlete said something that has continued swirling in my mind. He told the reporter that the morning of the event his thoughts started racing, taking on a life of itself. He calmed himself down as he started to re-focus and thought to himself that he couldn't take care of what had happened in the past. It was beyond his control. This meant that he could not visualize, think or focus on any type of loss or defeat he had experienced in his career. He made the decision that this was the only moment he had and if he didn't capitalize right now, he wasn't going to get another chance tomorrow. He also realized that he couldn't take care of the future as well. He had to go for it NOW or never.
Small business or career-orientated fashionistas that have experienced business losses, especially severe or side-tracking events, must do their best to remove from their mental view past defeats or wrong decisions.  Replaying these defeat-driven tapes in your mind sets you up for more losses, challenges and defeats. No matter what the color you have chosen as your source energy, it will not be able to deliver what you want.
I realized that when you choose a specific color to achieve a certain goal, so many other factors need to come into play. This is especially important when it comes to your mental toughness of committing to your decision. Think about it. If you have chosen red as your color for your next business meeting, pitch or job interview, your mental thoughts must carry the same energy the color red carries in order for you to receive maximum results from the color. In other words, red represents power, direct focus, success and achievement. If your thought pattern does not carry the same vibration, wearing the color will not circumvent or cancel any negativity. It will also not empower you at the maximum level you wanted.
The same applies to the types of words you are using at the time of your color selection. For example, if you are preparing for a pitch or sales meeting the next day and have encountered a few mishaps, this is certainly not the time to start a mental tirade. Mishaps happen for a reason, such as line sheets not turning out as you expected or missing color samples. When you rise above any circumstance, you will discover who you are and the stock you are made of. If you can make a sale in the face of these mishaps or adversities, you have received the energetic force you called forth full throttle from your color selection. If you would have allowed your mental notes or words to get in the way and have lost the sale or pitch, then you countered what the color energy was supposed to deliver, almost as if it created an invisible cancellation. The word "cancel" can also be used in a positive way. For instance, if you catch yourself verbalizing or visualizing a negative situation, repeat the words "cancel, cancel, cancel" and it will void any negative energies around you. And yes, say it three times. Not sure why, but this is how I was taught by Feng Shui masters and it works every time.
Choose the right words of success to say around your aura when selecting your color for success and achievement RIGHT NOW. If you are in the process of studying the different metaphysical properties associated with each color and are learning about different meta-physicists, look at books written by Florence Scovel Shinn. I have mentioned her book in past posts. On page #217 of the book "The Wisdom of Florence Scovel Shinn" the writer talks about Aladdin and his magic lamp.

"Aladdin rubbed the lamp and all his desires came to pass. Your word is your lamp. Words and thoughts are a form of radio activity and do not return void. A scientist has said that words are clothed in light. You are continually reaping the fruits of your words."

Its like the Olympians that have fallen in front of millions but make mental decisions to get back up, refusing to give into any type of fear or mental defeat. Failure is NOT an option. Sure these athletes face hardships while training and experience deep losses, but the one thing to take away from it is their resilience. Harness your greatness when selecting your color energy source. Chalk up any mistakes, failures, bad decisions as events that happened in your life to make you stronger, to learn the lessons you had yet to learn and to create a personal power aura that can withstand any mishap and turn it around into the success and achievement you deserve.

As always, create a prosperous week!
