Power Thinking and The Color Connection

Most of us have had a day or two in our lives where everything went right from dawn to dusk. But did you ever stop to think of the catalyst that sparked such bliss throughout that particular day? Although your thoughts, feelings and energy level played a significant hand, your ensemble accompanied with your color choices added to the fortunate chain of events. Take time to jot down exactly what you were wearing on memorable days, including patterns, prints and accessories. This helps you prepare the rest of your wardrobe to repeat good fortune.
For instance, create a "Good Fortune Wardrobe Notebook." Stationary retail shops like Kate's Paperie in New York City or the Paper Source in Beverly Hills, California are great places to buy a sleek notebook or journal with a special cover that represents your fashion sense and style. Keep a record of Polaroid snapshots of garments, shoes and accessories. Make an addition to your wardrobe pages by jotting down how you feel when you put on a specific piece. For example, if one of your favorite tops feels snug around the arm or pulls open when buttoned, ask yourself if this piece makes you feel empowered or if it creates feelings of low confidence. Include your favorite top as part of your goal while working to get rid of unwanted pounds leftover from the holiday season. Make these small adjustments to place you, your color choices and wardrobe in a power position to create the day you want.

In the book titled "Learn to Power Think" the author Caterina Rando writes many interesting points on how to use your mind to "power think." This particular author described life like a puzzle. If you choose to hold on to thoughts and feelings of jealousy, past hurts, anger or resentments, it creates a missing puzzle piece. If you choose to hold on to these energies, you lose precious time to create other life puzzle pieces, like love, harmony, financial freedom, abundance and lasting friendships. The missing puzzle pieces translate into creating an incomplete life experience. ("Learn to Power Think" part of the M721Organics Personal Power Store.)

Although I became interested in Feng Shui and metaphysical principles during business trips to Hong Kong, I realized that I always missed out on one of the most valuable keys and basic principles to these ancient practices. For some reason I had convinced myself  that the right answer had to somehow be more grandiose in nature. The key is quite simple. Only you can make the choice and commitment to work on thinking differently. You must be determined and focused to change your present circumstances by becoming the observer of your mind.  If you do not make this crucial and fundamental decision, all the color in the world can not deliver exactly what you want. You could get variations, but what you truly want to happen will continue to elude you. Think about that: what you truly want and deserve will elude you because you choose not to commit to changing your thought patterns. Think of your mind like the most beautiful blue sky you have ever seen and suddenly pesky clouds roll in forming a barrier, keeping you from indulging in your clear sky. Deciding to make a firm commitment is the catalyst to renewing your mind and spirit.

And yes, using color enhances the experience. Connecting power thinking to your color choices enhances the power energy you send out during the day, attracting and creating the results and opportunities you want. Internalize the importance of these principles to condition your mind to power think allowing you to become fully aware of the damage you do to yourself when you use your mind to think destructive thoughts. Let's face it, we are human and all of us have also had those days we do not want to repeat. As challenging as it is to avoid running the "mind-films" of bad circumstances over and over again, it is important to realize that every time you recycle negative thoughts, you increase the chances of the same situation repeating itself and all the color in the world can not derail the outcome. "Energy flows where attention goes." Remember, only you have the power to unleash your greatness.
