Color-Organize Your Closet and Instantly Change Your Energy!

What do you feel when you open up the doors to your closet? Is it excitement, frustration, anticipation to look through your many fashionista acquisitions or is it just pure dread filled with a sense of chaos? And what if I told you that by feeling those types of deep sentiments, you are injecting a negative vibration into and around your wardrobe, including your living space?

Unfortunately, it is all true. Deep feelings and emotions carry and emit a specific frequency that clings and clusters, creating negative situations as well as more of those unwanted feelings. That vibrating cluster seeps into fabric fibers and automatically depletes an upbeat mood into a tired and listless disposition throughout the day. Remember, the style does not make you, you make the style. Take a moment to think back of a positive event, like a pitch presentation, job interview or even just meeting a new client for the very first time and wearing a favorite suit or ensemble. Define the fashion breakdown checklist for this specific occasion:

A-Fit=superbly form-fitting silhouette;
B-Suit=pressed to crisp perfection;
C-Buttons and trims= in place and intact;
D-Accessories=complementary to the overall look.

You most likely walked into the opportunity with an extra kick to your step, filled with focus and vibrancy. Those are the feelings your closet and wardrobe need to exude to change your energy and space throughout the day to accomplish your desires and goals.

If the closet looks like it needs a complete overhaul and it is not in your budget at this time, start by categorizing your tops or ensembles by color. For example, if your favorite color is pink and it instantly makes you come alive whenever you see any shade of it, position pink-colored tops as the focal point of the closet. Let the color invite you into the closet space to recharge your juices and revive your attitude, especially if you are experiencing any type of transition in your life. Whether you are restoring your finances, seeking employment, opening up new income streams or pursuing new customers, allow the clothing to bring out your best self.

Work with your clothing. Feng shui experts suggest discarding any ripped, torn or worn clothing immediately from the closet and repairing any garments you plan to keep. This includes pressing out deep wrinkles. Choose a specific intention while organizing the closet. For example, if you have been experiencing a financial challenge and your garments have fallen to the wayside, discard the unwanted silhouettes that represent your recent troubles. Let the universe know you are clearing out the closet's aura for new financial opportunities to enter your space.

Keeping or holding on to unwanted or torn clothing represents YOU not wanting, ready or willing to let go of outworn ideas, relationships (whether personal or business) as well as holding on to unpleasant past events.

Here are a few suggestions to colorize and energize your closet:

A=Organize colors from light to dark for the spring/summer season and from dark to light for fall/winter months. Position favorite pieces at arms reach to mix and match.
B=Categorize your closet by tops, bottoms, dresses, business wear and accessories. If you are in the position to splurge, visit your local storage organization store for bright colored boxes, bins and closet separators. If splurging is not part of the cards right now, this is a great time to restore and recycle. For instance, recycle boxes or bins and print out favorite colored patterns on self-adhesive paper on your home computer. Use the project to ignite your creativity!
C=Make space! This sends a definite message to the universe that you are officially clearing and making room for new and exciting experiences to enter your life.

Always remember, wherever you are in life, you are meant to lead a life of abundance in every aspect and in every area. YOU ARE WORTH THE EFFORT!
